Sarah Stratton against Miller City

Miller City jumped out to a 15-0 lead in the opening quarter of the sectional tournament game against Bluffton at Ottawa.  Bluffton fought back, getting to within 20-15 early in the second quarter.  But another 14-0 spurt in the third put the game out of reach for the Pirates, as Miller City rolled to a 62-33 win.   The Pirates were slowed by 18 first half turnovers.  

Mariah Welch led Bluffton in scoring with 16 points.  

This was the final game for seniors Sarah Stratton and Jaime Lugibihl.  The Pirates end the year at 4-17.
